Kate Daniels PhD, MBACP

I am a BACP-registered counsellor based in central Cambridge, with extensive experience of working in private practice and higher education settings.

I offer a secure and accepting psychotherapeutic space in which all clients are listened to with care and consideration. As a therapist, I support my clients to safely explore and better understand any sources of psychological or emotional conflict or distress.

I provide psychodynamic and pluralistic counselling to all adult individuals and have particular experience of working with young people in higher education. I am a Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity (GSRD)-affirming practitioner.

I offer psychotherapeutic support in areas including depression and anxiety; life transitions; autism spectrum and other neurodivergent conditions; bereavement and loss; identity and sexuality; trauma; work difficulties; relationship problems; study-related issues; emotional eating; bipolar disorder; self-esteem and general personal development.
